Title Case

Your converted text appears here.

How it works

  • Title Case capitalises each word except short ones like "of", "and" and "the" (unless they start or end the title). Words already in capitals, like UK or NASA, are kept.
  • Sentence case capitalises the first letter of each sentence and "I".
  • camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case and CONSTANT_CASE are for code, file names and URLs: punctuation is dropped and words are joined.

Worked example

"the quick brown fox of the uk" in Title Case is The Quick Brown Fox of the Uk; type "UK" in capitals to keep it. In snake_case it's the_quick_brown_fox_of_the_uk.

Questions

Is my text saved or sent anywhere?

No. Conversion happens in your browser and the text isn't stored; it's gone when you close the page.

Which title case style does it follow?

A common style used by most publishers: short articles, conjunctions and prepositions stay lower case. Style guides differ slightly, so check names and brand spellings.
