Who we are
MyToolWallet is run by Liam, an independent developer in the UK, who is responsible for how your data is handled.
The short version
- There are no accounts. We never ask who you are.
- Tools run in your browser. The numbers, text and files you use in them stay on your device and are never sent to us.
- The contact form is anonymous: it doesn't ask for your name or email.
Information on your device
Some tools remember what you last entered, and the site remembers your theme and currency. This is saved in your browser's storage on your device, not on our servers, and we can't see it. See cookies and storage for the full list. You can remove it at any time:
If you send us a message
The contact and request forms send us only what you type in the message (and the tool name, for requests). They don't ask for your name or email, so we can't reply, and we ask you not to include personal details. We use messages only to improve the site and decide which tools to build, and delete them within 2 years.
To stop spam, the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser is not an automated bot. Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address to do this; see Cloudflare's privacy policy. Our server also uses your IP address briefly to limit how often the form can be sent.
Hosting and security logs
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure. Like any website, the hosting keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, page requested and time) to keep the service secure and working.
Advertising and analytics
We don't currently show adverts or use analytics. If we add them, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete information we hold about you, or object to how we use it. As we don't collect names, emails or accounts, we normally hold nothing that identifies you. If you have a question about your data, send it through the contact form and include how we can reach you (we'll use that only to answer you). If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or your local data protection authority.
