Calculator
A quick calculator with history, keyboard support and scientific functions.
History
Sums you work out appear here.
How it works
Type with the buttons or your keyboard. The answer updates as you go; press = or Enter to keep it and add the sum to your history. Sums follow the usual order: brackets, powers, then × and ÷, then + and −.
Percent works like a phone calculator: 200 + 10% is 220 (200 plus 10% of 200), while 200 × 10% is 20. Turn on scientific for powers, roots, trigonometry (in degrees or radians) and logs.
Worked example
12 × (3 + 4) = 84. 2^10 = 1,024. sin(30) in degrees = 0.5. 80 − 15% = 68.
Questions
Why does 0.1 + 0.2 show exactly 0.3?
Computers store most decimals as tiny approximations. This calculator rounds the result to 12 significant figures, which removes that noise without affecting real answers.
Can I use my keyboard?
Yes: numbers, + − * / ^ ( ) % and !, Enter for equals, Backspace to delete and Escape to clear.
Is my history saved?
Your last 20 sums are kept in this browser on your device only. Clear them with the button under the history, or from the privacy page.
